Gray and White Bathroom: Before and After
The renovation is complete, and my parents' bathroom has been brought into the modern era! With white and gray tile, warm gray cabinets, the gorgeous Biscotti granite, and some beautiful mirrors, which were sponsored by
, this bathroom is a show stopper! I am so excited to share with you the amazing transformation!
This bathroom started out with cream linoleum, honey-colored cabinets, outdated wallpaper, and a cheap countertop. It was transformed into a sleek, modern master bathroom retreat.
The dual vanity mirrors, which are available on
add a modern elegant touch to the new vanity. They go right in line with the trend to have smaller mirrors over each sink vs. one large mirror over the entire vanity. We chose two of the
30"x 24" classic mirrors. They were an easy install that really added to the overall glam in this new bathroom. They were a perfect choice with the new chrome fixtures. For more details on how to install a vanity mirror, see this previous post:

The newly painted, warm gray cabinets pair perfectly with the modern, square, chrome handles.
The gray and white tile was continued around the new tub. Small tile accents in the same shades add interest along the bathtub backsplash area.
Chrome faucets were installed on the tub, shower, and sinks. Each having a more modern, elegant squared handle.
Upgraded finishes in white, chrome and different varieties of gray make you feel like you are in a luxury modern spa.
A pocket door was chosen for the shower room to replace the swinging door, which intruded into the vanity and bathtub area.
The gray tiled walk-in shower is a gorgeous change, as well.
It was completed with an adjustable chrome shower head and small tile cutouts for bathroom accessories.
It is amazing the transformation that took place without changing the floor plan or cabinetry. By upgrading the finishing touches, like lighting, tile, flooring, fixtures, paint, and accessories, we were able to get the sleek, modern look we were hoping to achieve.
Out with the old, and in with the new!
